Inspiring drawings, but use instructional techniques Just spent over an hour doing some light weight drawing, using Rachael Taylor’s "20 Ways to Draw A Doodle." Doodling these drawings may look easy, but for many people like myself it’s not. The book provides no instruction on how to draw detailed lines, patterns, or graphic fills. It would be nice to have an online companion video that shows some techniques the artist uses for drawing many of the more complicated shapes. For the two drawings I completed this morning, I used the Adobe Ideas app for the iPad, which is a great paperless way for drawing . "Kid Friendly Doodles" according to A.F.. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter who loves to draw. Lately she's been in a dry spell so I bought this book to give her some ideas and inspiration. The doodles are clear cut and easy to draw. The book is very simple and kid friendly, and my daughter has taken the example doodles and transformed them into her own. Tonight she drew a doodled rainbow sun that was out of this world. I would recommend this book to any child 7+ who likes to draw.. Love this book . Great inspiration for the doodler in anyone. Even people who aren't doodlers pick up this book and give it a try. I bought a copy for my adult daughter. She loves it. My grand kids are fascinated with it. I recommend this book to anyone.
