20 Ways to Draw a Tree and 44 Other Nifty Things from Nature: A Sketchbook for Artists, Designers, and Doodlers
Description
Perhaps too simple to be inspiring I bought this book along with Craft-a-Doodle (which is excellent) to inspire me to doodle and draw more for my card-making and crafting. It's basically a bunch of cute doodled versions of various items found in nature (trees, leaves, flowers, birds and bird feathers) in a spread, with a blg blank area for your attempts. That's it. There is no instruction or comment, and I don't find the doodle variations and styles that inspiring. I'd look through this book first to see if it's what you need. It doesn't feel worth the money, to me; I'd start with a book like Craft-a-Doodle first.. Nice Studio Reference Dar A. Hosta James I'm an artist who does mostly nature based work. Renouf's simple illustrations are the perfect jumping off point for all kinds of creativity. I like the 20 Ways to Draw A Cat, too, but not as much as this one. I have it also and will keep them both handy for those moments when a quick look at something can make all the difference in feeling like. Awesome! This beautiful book has 20 ways to draw Awesome!
