Terrence Aybar said Probably the only book you will ever need on Miike. I will say upfront that I have not read the entire book. I'd say at the time of this writing, I've read about half of it. I do feel the need though to comment on this book's absolutely stunning design and overall thoroughness of the content, so please don't disregard this review without reading the rest. For starters, the book is simply beautiful. So glad to have this back in my collection. First edition, too!. "Great book" according to Norrin Radd. Takashi Miike is an amazing director and this book is perfect to explain his movies. It is well worth the money for how much information is in it. I would skim through the movie sections to get an feel on each Miike movie. My only advice would be to read about the movie after you watch it since it explains a lot and tells you everything that happens including the ending.
