"The series continues" according to Avid Reader Vicki. You would think a person would tire of reading a series where each book is 800+ pages long. With the Outlander series, I find just the opposite! I devour each book, savoring each twist and turn of the extremely well written plot. Loved it Edyta Brzeczkowska I have to say I loved that book and I was so happy that finally the author is back and the story is back. I sort of was upset with book 4, 5, and 6 and with this one, the story is interesting again and engaging and not too brutal, gruesome and sort of not Outlander. Not that I did not like the previous three books, but I was upset about them. Too much of Bree and Roger and sort of the story got lost. Each subsequent novel gets more and more void of substance Karolyn Trumble It seems Ms Gabaldon is slipping into the same pit so many good writers do. Her first 3 novels were true page turners, in my opinion. Sure, time travel is a fantasy, but she made everything seem plausible without insulting my intelligence.
