This is not a bad read, but fairly slow getting a reader's attention This is not a bad read, but fairly slow getting a reader's attention. Characters are naive to me, but not simple. The book has a good feeling but seems insubstantial as it addresses its topic of a woman who tried to please everyone. It was obvious from the start who was going to be trouble. A creative ending turns the situation to "it's all for the best" and . Loved it I generally read before bed, but I had started, An Empty Cup earlier in the day while on a day trip and settled down before bed to read a bit more, but I could not put the book down, as a person who does have depression I was drawn in and related to Rosanna.
