Thought provoking and eerily familure Riley This book is a bit of a slog to get through, but I will admit it was worth the journey. The scary similarities to conflicts and ways of thinking that we face in the real world are enough to prompt some serious reflection on my own outlook on things. Considering the age of the book, it's refreshing to see strong characters and the struggles to wrap their minds around thing when everything seems upside down and backwards, again, all to similar to our very recent past. While yes the book tends to be excessively wordy and repeats itself at times, the concepts and axioms . Jacob Johnson said Everyone Should Read At Least Once. One of those books everyone should read at least once. You may love it. You may hate it. Either way it's a book I wish we as a society could have a more honest and qualified discussion about. The writing is certainly different and by no means 'easy' but isn't lacking for quality. The depth and development of ideas is something to behold and I tend to believe they are certainly worth consideration and reflection.. "Great Book, Stays Relevant" according to Logan. This is a classic book. I'm very glad I was talked into reading it. This is and eye-opener and many of the references in the book are still very relatable to events in present time. For anyone who feels the weight of regulation and taxes on a daily basis, its amazing how this book can sum it up.
