Well, you don't have to remember, these drawings give you authentic 80's budding hip hop era NY. The paper is much nicer than I expected. It is nice and thick. Of course colored pencils will work nicely, gel pens, water based markers even. I would not use alcohol markers as they will likely bleed through. I love every single picture and inte. Amazinggggggggg! From the moment I saw this I knew I wanted it! I'm a hip-hop scholar and couldn't wait to sit this on my coffee table. Once it arrived I was even more excited. I'm scared to actually color in it. I will definitely buy more copies for others and probably another for myself to practice my coloring skills :)I love the author's work.
