Description

Charming Paranormal Cozy Series Peggy R This is the second book in the Witch's Cat Mystery and was just as enjoyable as the first. The author has created a story set in a charming historic New England small town and combines it with magic, mystery and a start of a romance for an enchanting read. In my opinion, the author has also assemble a wonderful cast of diverse characters that are strong with depth and dimension. The addition of Anna's grandmother, Grandma B.B., is mots welcome. I liked that we were able to see some growth in Anna as she comes to terms with her magic and leaning how . A Surprise Betty Louise A superb paranormal tale that I found difficult to put down. Annabelle Britton arrives in Portsmouth New Hampshire on a visit a close friend. She is very surprised to find that her Grandma grew up and the town, but left when she married. She learns that her Grandma is a witch and there is an active coven in town. She has 'vibes' at times but she has no idea how to control. Annabelle meets a mystery cat, Alistair who can disappear at will. He refuses to accept a home since his former owner died. Alistair leads Annabelle to a cottage and adopts her. T. KMich0"The mysteries continue in Portsmouth" according to KMich02. By Familiar Means is just as good as the first book in the Witch's Cat Mystery series, if not better. The author gives the reader very well-developed and likable characters. I especially loved getting to properly meet Anna's Grandma B.B. While we were introduced to her in the first book, we get to see much more of her in this one as she visits her granddaughter in Portsmouth. The mysteries in the book are very intriguing. I do love the way the book ended and I sincerely hope to read more books in this series.. said The mysteries continue in Portsmouth.
