i Really Enjoyed This Book I read this book years ago and am still in love with it. It is one of those books that I can read over and over. This is the last book in a group of books about friends. It is not really a series as each book can stand on its own. If you want more of a background to the story read Lion's Lady, Guardian Angel and The Gift. I happened to read this book first so it was interesting to go back and read the other stories. I love the humor in this book between Col. Whudda ride Aaah but don't'cha just love these handsome, arrogant, big Alpha men that JG gives us to slobber over? And WHERE does JG retreat toto dream up these wonderful stories? She usually doesn't fail to deliverhowever this story isn't par for the course. Even though it was a fantastic plot full of romance (but of course m'dear!)mystery, intrigue, adventure and murderwe're left with two sub-plotsOne concerning the mysterious and, (we're told) evil General Ivan fro. My list of reasons you will like this book: Alenya 1. The characters are very likeable and entertaining.2. Garwoods humor is laugh out loud at times.3.
