Images too dark to color Sheila P I've been coloring for a few year so I'm pretty good at it. Flowers are my favorite and I enjoy coloring grayscale. When I saw this book I got excited. It is beautiful and the pictures look like oil paintings. The color guides show everything well and they are somewhat helpful but it is close to impossible to follow the guide and ascertain where the flowers. I have found these pictures actually come out beautiful, and I too, used my prismacolors, because I am not a huge fan of markers, as suggested by the author. There are 30 pictures and each one has 2 identical test pi. 0 pictures and each one has 2 identical test pi. While they are pretty, much of the grayscale is so dark that These pictures are copied from paintings. While they are pretty, much of the grayscale is so dark that it distorts the colors. And because the originals were on canvas, the canvas marks show on the grayscale pictures and are hard to cover. I found coloring these to be very frustrating.
