Beautiful Callaghan This is a great coffee table book. Not obnoxiously large or heavy (books like that tend to never be read as people are intimidated to even lift them!). Unlike some of the other architectural books of LA, the photos in this book are contemporary, thus they are all in color. The styles presented have a little something for everyoneeverything from Spanish to craftsman/arts and crafts to French regency to Georgian revival. In a city where so much of the architecture is mid-century modern, this book does . Great for Southern California lovers! We're going to use this for a fundraiser as a silent auction item.
