Definitely for a more advanced pianist. This is not a beginners or hardly an intermediate book. But if you're more advanced in piano, than you'll love this book. Beautiful pieces that are a challenge!. "Love!" according to Jen. I really love these Schirmer books. I know there are disagreements as to whether the Schirmer books are completely true to the original pieces or not, but my piano teacher had me playing out of several of them when I was growing up. This one of Liszt pieces is wonderful.
