I am totally confused by programs such as Photoshop and Gimp, so when I saw this guide to using Canva, I picked it up straight away.I have previously used Canva for doing very simple things, such as putting text onto a background, but lacked the confidence to use it for a book cover. What I didn't expect from the book was all the ideas it gave me for creating my own journals and workbooks. Well, duh, the book does have the words "create stunning journals & workbooks" right there in the title but I wasn't thinking I would use it for that until I read it. The book walks you through designing your workbook as well as meeting CreateSpace specifications. There are great tips for selecting colours and fonts too! Desiree If this is something you ever thought of doing, I would highly recommend reading this book, that is an easy guide to creating notebooks or journals. If you are not a graphic artist, if you are clueless with formatting, but there is a journal or workbook waiting to get out, you should read this book.
