A keeper! Bing This book has been my main reference since it arrived in the mail after New Year's. I liked how detailed the step-by-step instructions are - from what colors to use, to which ones to use first. The objects are broad in range - from natural (flowers, wood, earth, human) to man-made (glass, paper bag, rubber balloon) textures.. Excellent Resource for Painting a Variety of Textures This book is an excellent resource for the colored pencil artist. It contains information on how to create just about any subject a colored pencil artist would encounter. The book includes a section on materials and tools as well as information on the basics of colored pencil. From there it covers both natural and man-made textures. Natural textures include sections on flowers, fruits, vegetables and animals. There is also a section on leaves and wood and on earth and water. The demonstration on how to pai.
