Sasha Q. said Fantastic Read--New Series!. First, I want to state that I am a big fan of Jonathan Kellerman's novels and have read most of them. I have also read several of Jesse Kellerman's previous works (both as a stand-alone author and in collaboration with his father, Jonathan). I have enjoyed them all and this one does not disappoint.I really like the main character, Coroner's Deputy Clay Edison, and am excited to hear that this book is the first in a new series of books. I was impressed on many levels. Since I enjoy a good po. I'm an Alex Delaware fan B. Ferris so hope that there are more, Alameda County Coroner Deputy Clay Edison! Both Mr Kellermans gave us a good introduction to Clay. Clay is a graduate of UC Berkeley and he investigates the death of an older man in Berkeley who was a psych professor, before Clay went there, but the man's daughter tangles Clay into looking a little closer and one thing lead to another. Clay's around 30 years old, single and a loner but not in a bad way. A deputy in the coroner's office has different duties than . I got this novel from the Vine program because I've been reading a lot of mysteries lately.I have been following Faye Kellerman's Decker and Lazarus series for decades, and reading an occasional Jonathan Kellerman mystery. Yes, mysteries are "all the same" but they are also each unique and wildly satisfying when done right.Crime Scene is done right.
