"Very useful textbook." according to Doug Urquhart. We bought this, thinking it was just the original German text.It isn't. It contains the original text, but it's a training aid, produced in the US. It includes copious footnotes, plus a set of questions at the end of each chapter. Strongly recommended if your objective is to use Dürrenmatt's story in conjunction with a German course.. "Excellent short story in German" according to Levon Bedrosian. This is a short story and a thriller, by a master Swiss author. It is geared for college and university students of the German language, with helpful aids, such as a glossary of German words.. "Extremely difficult reading" according to Amooney. We read this in my intermediate German class in college. The book was in great shape, received it well. For anyone who is going to read it though, it was a very difficult read.
