Good ideas to clear your mind. Book Worm This author has done a great job of creating ways to make life, lists and all that encompasses work for her. She's in the raising kids stage. I am of an age of working in and outside home, grown children and elderly parents. Most of the ideas in this book are ones I have been utilizing for many years. I went to this book seeking ways to find balance in my everyday life, but instead I learned about 'tilting' which I have done for the 30 years I've been married. It was a wonderful surprise to learn that this method is actually more effective than everyday . Andrew P Nielson said Big Brooke Book Fan. I've been a regular listener to Brooke's podcast for some months now and I've been eagerly awaiting this book. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect but was not disappointed. This was a clear and insightful step by step guide to help lead a simple, more intentional life and I plan to re read it and put her suggestions in to practice. Brooke has a grounded, approachable voice and I value her advice and methods.(Written by Mrs K Nielson). Alison Schmidt said Simple ideas to make changes. I've been a listener of Brooke's podcast for some time, so I have been looking forward to this book. It is short and has some good clear ideas about how to incorporate simplicity and harmony in your life. On first read through, I have come away with three great points-- create rituals, create rhythms, and don't be afraid to "tilt" toward what you need right now. I look forward to reading the chapters again and examining these ideas further.
