Really enjoying this book! mandolingeek This is a great book, but not for a beginner. There are a few fairly easy tunes, but most are medium difficulty. Great selection of tunes. Watch out, though. Have found quite a few mistakes in both the notes and in the tablature, but nothing that someone who plays wouldn't catch. All in all, a great book with good arrangements.. It has lots of technique tips and most of the fiddle tunes in it are accompanied by a short history of the tune. The tunes are fun to play on mandolin and I also play them on Irish tenor banjo, which has the same tuning, but an octave lower.
