good collection of French accordion stuff Frugal French Music for Accordion, Vol. 2 is a nice collection of 31 pieces of French accordion music. It offers several different styles: waltzes, tangos, mazurkas, a march or two, polkas. The pieces vary in level of difficulty, from a few fairly simple waltzes to more complicated arrangements with 4-note jazzy chords in the right hand. (Sometimes the right-hand chords are a bit too full for my taste.) The arrangements are very much like those in the first volume.Thirteen of the pieces are waltzes or mazurkas in 3/4 time. There needs to be a fair amount of dexterity with playing melody chords and reading difficult key changes. It hasbecome some of my favorite accordion music to play.First thing I did was to photocopy, cut and pasteso that there would be no awkward page turns.Print is large and legible, easy to read.There are a few editorial errors, but you'llhear those and correct them.What I like best about the book:1) offers good variety of forms: paso dobles, waltzes, tangos, polkas;2) there is a range of difficulty, but the pieces are mostly intermediate-level*;
