The venue is New Orleans where televangelist, Jackson Wilde, publicly attacks Claire Laurent’s seasonal lingerie mail order catalog, French Silk, as tasteless and pornographic. Shortly thereafter Wilde is found. Pathetic! Ms T Sandra Brown has written some good novels but this is definitely NOT ONE OF THEM! Three-fourths of the book is spent "developing" the relationship between the Assistant DA, who manages to kiss and bed the chief suspect within the first few chapters of the book - totally unbelievable and just absolutely inane.
