SJ and SF said Slipshod work.. This book skims over several large concepts with only a vague mention, and without any specific technical terms to learn more. Even for an introductory book, it is vague and I am disappointed. I would have rated it a little higher had the price been closer to its value -- at $11 it is extremely excessive for what looks to be a regurgitated list of glossary terms segueing into a how-to make your own glass pipe for smoking.. I would suggest though, if you are interested in getting into glass blowing you take some classes with an experienced glass blower. Nothing compares to hands on experience and with an instructor you will cut out a lot of mistakes by learning and listening to their experience.
