"A Good Read for Any Worship Songwriter" according to Andrew Thompson. Terrific content. A good discussion starter for anyone interested in learning more about worship songwriting. Solid advice. Obviously some theological streams will find a few things to quibble about - no one can please everyone - but none of this keeps it from being a helpful resource.The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is the unreasonably high price. I have been a church music director for the past two and a half years, and absolutely love Paul Baloche's music. It was such a joy to read this book, to learn about how some of the most popular Christian songs came to be, and to just hear from some of the greats in CCM. I would say that the book is dominated with how to write songs. That wasn't really what I was looking for when I started the book, but I defin.
