Engaging, suspenseful and full of action 3.5 Stars. I really enjoyed this one. Veronica and Jasper were fun characters and the suspense was really well done. Their were quite a few twists and turns and I didn't figure out the villain until pretty close to the end which is always a plus. I loved Gunner and Sydney as secondary characters and I'm looking forward to reading their book.. Tina Wheatley said I Love This series. This is another great series by Cynthia Eden. I really enjoyed this book and especially the main characters: Veronica and Shadow Agent Jasper.I liked how the author made everyone think Veronica was fragile and docile. She was made of steel and spoke up when she needed. She and Jasper was a perfect pair. Veronica's brother Cale made things very interesting. I like how he prepared his sister to take care of herself in any situation she may find herself in. She called them "Cale's Rules". Jasper is irreverent and wild, always one step further out than he should be. Oh, I love a good bad boy!
