Jorge Barbarosa said Good for Classic instruments. There are number of guitars out there that use new switches, pots, caps etc and this book doesn't relate to that. Frankly all the new stuff has merit but I have found the older bullet proof designed and sturdily manufactured pieces held together by good soldering works. Open up the access plate to a Epiphon. Great for the deeper enthusiast. Excellent book if, like me, you want to get really into things like the Minutia of pickups, differences in wiring and shielding, etc. if you're looking for quick and concise info. and wiring diagrams only, not so much. However, if you ever plan on wanting to have in depth, ground up information on the elect.
