Description

"An unforgettable and well written ride into truth and inspiration!" according to Michael Austin. Written is a friendly, page-turning style, Zach Neese describes how he discovered a link to the heart of the Creator of the universe - right there is plain sight - The Tabernacle! The place of worship, designed by the Creator himself, for this purpose. You would think we believers could follow the instructions! But no, men have had 'better ideas', on how to worship - much of which was inspired by worldly lusts and pagan traditions. What were we thinking? Thankfully, Nesse, a seasoned and well-equipped 'worship leader', takes his readers on a personal tour, complete with miraculous evidence, to the heart and soul of true worship, Abba styl. Chris Vaughan said Biblically rich and deeply convicting. I am a worship pastor of a congregation in South Texas, and found this book to be a beacon of truth and wisdom. In America, it's tempting to give in to being culturally relevant instead of being biblically faithful. Zach Neese brings the full spectrum of God's Word to bear in this powerful book about the etiquette that God expects when we approach Him. I have been convicted by the Holy Spirit and drawn into deeper fellowship with Jesus because of God's Word in this book, and have already begun using it as a discipleship course for the worship leaders under my care. Worship is never about ministering to people, its about ministering to God. Worship never changed, God never changed. We did. It's time to return to His culture. This book took my worship to the next level. It doesn't say anything that wasn't already in the bible; it just had to be pointed out to me. The importance of the tabernacle, the way God told the Jews to minister to him, and the boldly stepping out into the worship of old in a world where tradition has become more important that conviction were some of the things I took from the book. Worship MUST have a sacrifice. The way to the Father is through the cross. My relationship with my savior is so much more intimate now. I can't recommend any other book more with the exception of the Word itself.

When we learn to worship God through our life, we become better Christians, ministers, musicians, parents, and mechanics. It is the impetus for everything we do as Christians. Transform every area of your life through worship. This book unfolds a holistic view of worship so that you can experience peace, joy, and the richness of living in God's presence. Worship is more than music. It is expressed through every action of our lives and helps us become more Christ-like. Be drawn to the heart of God as you explore answers to important questions such as: What are praise and worship, and what is my part in them? If I'm not a musician or singer, how can I be a worship leader? What does the Bible teach about how we come into the presence of God and how we lead other people into the presence of God?
