There really isn't any way to really teach someone to be a successful investor without intensive training and mentoring so you can't expect much more than that. I have read several others on this topic and this is by far the most user friendly, complete, well organized book on these two techniques.The checklists provided to do the deals are worth the price of the book. I find that most investing books are only an entry point for the author to try to sell you seminar tickets, courses, etc – all of which are ridiculously overpriced. Wendy Patton does mention that she does seminars, maybe 2 times in the book; she never tries to push
