Adorable whimsical characters will order more This is the first coloring book I have purchased by Heather Valentin and it won't be the last. The images are on white paper and are one sided. It works very well with both wax and oil based colored pencils. I tested the paper with alcohol markers and they bleed through which in my experience is normal. Water based markers only left a shadow on the reverse page but I would still use a blotting sheet between pages. The paper held up nicely to watercolor pencils with minimal water.
