Great inspiration, a lot of text Maia Malanee There are beautiful pictures, both new and old. I especially liked the section that focused on some of the regional styles. The book touches on things you wouldn't really think about at first, like patterns and materials.I did notice that there is a lot of text that is interesting to read, but there are times where the pictures and text doesn't match up. True, the author is clearly an art historian (hence "streamlined and functional" becomes "streamlined and functionalistic," thus referencing the Functionalist Movement) but it's hardly incomprehensible.
