Only about natural light not just good portait photography David of Lombard I found this book rather useless. It does not give tips on taking good portrait photos. It only talks about taking photos with natural light which is a luxury rarely available.. "Great little book" according to Tony Lees. What a great little book this is. And it is little, but that's the only problem with it, I would love to read more from Joe Scrivens. The book is very brief so it lacks any serious depth, but Joe has a very nice writing style and offers excellent practical advice and useful info. I'd love to read more from him, and I'd definitely be in line to buy a more in depth book. I have a feeling it would be much more enjoyable and useful than many of the tril. Unfortunately all the colors are in black and white since I only have a Kindle Paperwhite and I don't feel like reading it on a computer screen.
