If you are reading this review and considering buying this book, then you are a certain kind of person looking for more specific information than you find in general railfan picture books. Don't get me wrong; I love the picture books, and could spend the rest of my life reading them and never get enough. But this book te. "I was disappointed with this" according to Amazon Customer. I was disappointed with this. I was hoping for more details like track numbering and the amount of daily traffic. The yard diagrams were good (not all yards covered had diagrams) but, again, details were left out. It would be impossible trying to use this book to correlate what was happening on a radio scanner.The histor. "Best Book (I can find) on Yards!" according to VA 6. If you're looking to find out more about individual railyards, this is the best book I can find. This book does a solid job at covering all the major yards in all the Class I railroads.
