This was one of the books that popped up on the list. I took a chance thinking it sounded interesting and enjoyed what I read. I will admit for a while I was highly annoyed with Marielle. She acted like everything was stacked against her and never wanted to let go of her past. As the story progressed I understood why she was the way she was. I fell in love with Faris. I read it twice, so far Kristine Williams One Wish Away was one of those books you want to read twice so you can enjoy all the mysteries that kept you on your toes on the first read. I was constantly at the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was happening around Marielle. The characters are well developed and feel like real people, especially Marielle and Faris.
