"Really impressed" according to Linda U.. This is a very nice book. It is printed on nice watercolor paper and the images are very pretty. One of the really nice things about this book is that at the front of the book it explains each type of design (what kind of design it is, what art era it came from, how it was inspired, etc) and it also gives you tips on how to paint it. There are a couple more books in this series and I cannot wait to order them.. Vicki said Fun book for beginners or experts. I bought this to practice watercolor on. It is alot of fun to have a coloring book just for watercolor! Love filling in all the designs. The intro to the book gives suggestions to materials to purchase, and color schemes for the designs. Only drawback is that you have to be careful with how much water you use, the pages do curl/bend up if you use too much water. I've learned have to use very little water to avoid this. Other than that wonderful book! I will be buying more of these I'm sure in the future.. Wonderful! cwhet Beautiful book. The artist has so much experience and is so willing to share her talents. There are many YouTube videos she has made to help beginners succeed. The book itself is stunning with real watercolor paper and oversized pages. So much thought went into them. I now have all three and hope to really learn to watercolor for fun!
