Beautiful must have book This book is just wonderful. If you're interested in painting birds or even just appreciate beautiful artwork, this is a must have book. As I turned through the pages, I was just amazed at the beauty of each painting, the exquisite detail, and the detailed step by step instructions of how to paint each beautiful bird, flower, berry, twig, and butterflies, bees, etc. Each step is wonderfully illustrated and fully explained with examples of mixes, brushstrokes, tips, and procedures to achieve Sherry's beautiful results. I plan to eventually paint some of the paintings in the book, but even if I wasn't, I'd still love i. Great book for learning to paint birds! Beautiful book containing many painting of birds with instructions as to how to paint them! This artist is extremely talented. I am currently copying one of her painting and have already gotten a lot of compliments on it and it is not even finished. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn to paint birds or to improve their painting techniques. I plan to buy more of Sherry Nelson's books soon.. I wanted it to complete the set and am already planning on doing more works from it. Her method is simple to understand; experience is helpful but not a requirement. The step-by-step format give anyone a chance to create a work of art and have fun doing it at the same time. Even someone with no formal art training- myself included- can do it. I would heartily recommend this book anyone who likes painting birds such as these, even if you're a novice or an expert, because there should be something for everyone
