Paint your story Naomi Good general information on light painting. I was hoping for more of a study on how light works (creating shadows/highlights properly for one), but that wasn't his point in this book. Plus that's pretty hard to do in a book, vs watching someone do it in person. I especially liked his thoughts on creating "a story". I have read other information on light painting from other sources and I feel that the story is missing in a lot of other scenarios and therefore the heart and soul of the photograph is also missing. After reading this book, I also had a few questio. Excellent. This is a great book. Looked forward to it since I ordered in October.Arrived today and it's very down to earth and practical. I especially like that Eric emphasizes the camera does not really matter. Very true.If you want to do something out of the ordinary with your photography light painting is a great rabbit hole to go down. Plus it will make you learn exposure.. I did dive right in and checked out the first few chapters and Eric Curry is indeed a Master when it comes to Lighting w/Paint M.WOOLARD So far so good. I have quite a few books that I am still catching up on so I still need to catch up, but I did dive right in and checked out the first few chapters and Eric Curry is indeed a Master when it comes to Lighting with Paint and Photoshop.
