I was ultimately disappointed. First While this book does offer some insight into Paul's development as a bass player -- his influences, his gear, his philosophy -- and analyses of a handful of songs (9 total), I was ultimately disappointed.First, for a book that is specifically about his use of the bass. Michael J Shoback said Not what I thought. Don't get me wrong, if you want to know about Paul McCartney, this is a great book but I am a Bass Player and I wanted to know more about how he plays the songs and less about Paul's personal life. Although the tabs of the songs are there and they are definitely accur. Good read! Fun book to read as a bass player and massive Beatles/Wings/Sir Paul fan!
