Not as a model to follow, but as a model of carnal Christianity to avoid.. The church has its organization and doctrine in the Apostle Paul. The Corinthian church is the example church. The man, Paul, is unique. This commentary of Paul's First letter to the Corinthian assembly is presented as an insight both to the man and the church. And yet the man obviously was chosen by our Lord Jesus to reveal to all Christians the New Testament meaning of exactly what Jesus began to do and teach concerning the church.
