Must read for any true Prince "fam" I'm only halfway through the book. What I really like is reading the backstory to Prince's albums and projects. This is not a gossipy or superficial book which I really like. The author did real research and really respects Prince and his work.. Long and often times slow reading Mary Ann Schentrup There was a lot of information provided. I found that I often had to go back and forth in order to understand everything presented. There was no real logical progression. There seems to be an assumption that the reader has access to all albums and movies discussed. It was hard to relate to items not in my collection.I did not find this to be as enjoyable to read as most of the bo. V. Kells said Highly recommend for your Prince collection.
