Very beginner-friendly! I'm a brand new beginner, and there's plenty of tracks to work on, besides more complicated stuff to work up to. Nice clear cd, with the bass in the left side to make it easier to hear on my computer speaker. This is really going to help me learn more stuff, more quickly.. just the right book for someone looking to get a grasp on reggae bass playing. I love this book. It's something I wish I would of got when I was younger! It definately gets your brain and fingers moving!!! You have to allow a little time to get "the muscle memory" working. Took me a while but now I can lay in bed with my eyes closed and play the bass riffs with out looking at the page. Repitionion is the key!!! Couldn't of done it without this book! definate.
