It's a quick read, but it fills in a lot of details that this book continued on with.I read this book in about 7 hours. It's exactly what I expect from Shannon's Rylee Adamson novels. Except, this book wasn't so much about Rylee this time, as all the other books have been. Rylee was, of course, front and center, but there was a lot more of another cha. "Can't wait for more" according to Amanda R. Landis. I absolutely love the Rylee Adamson series. You truly never know what will happen from one page to the next. There is a new struggle and heartache around every corner for this interesting "family" (aka band of powerful, mystical misfits), but there are moments of utter joy and happiness sprinkled in that make it all worth it.While I certainly have my favorites, I have simply fallen in love with all the characters throughout the past 9 books. Each is well developed, with a mini storyline all their own. I would love to see some follow up series centered a. Amy Slager said I was so happy to see that the "last" Rylee Adamson book had.
