Left me smiling Ive long been a fan of ths authors time travelling Fae series so thought I'd give her fantasy series a go when I spotted this . It's the third book in the Kings Riders series but I found that the story and romance worked quite well as a standalone. Its set in a land where both ordinary and those possessing magic live and there's even elves and animals capable of bonding with humans. It's into this setting that we first discover Elissa who has powerful magic over the elements and when she was a small child own family were brutally murdered. Her cousin is married to the King and consequently Elissa has spent her life safe with. Stacey said Good read. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review and I have to say that it has been a great deal for me. The writing was well done, character development was good, and the plot flowed nicely. I've found that it's difficult for a number of authors that create entirely unique fantasy worlds to be able to grab the readers' interest. Often they have to specifically explain the many facets of the world for the plot that they end up losing reader interest. That wasn't the case with this book and definitely contributed to my positive reading experience.There are a couple of aspects that I thought didn't quite m. I really enjoyed the main characters and found myself wanting to throw something at the male character when he was being a jerk.
