A great tool to understand Security Analysis by B. Graham The first time I read the original Security Analysis written by Benjamin Graham, I felt it was somehow hard to absorb. To get a real traction of the book I had to go through many of the chapters multiple times. The book was written many decades ago and that is probably the reason that it is hard to read today. I guess my opinion is shared by others as well, regardless their competence level in finance, investment and accounting etc.This summary . tom_matthews said Next step for the intermediate investor!. Too many books are written for the investing novice. Not anything bad to say about novices, we all have to start somewhere. But it seems to me that most books are written for absolute beginners teaching the reader what a “compounding interest” is.Specifically for value investing it seems like all good content is written before 1950 in a language no one gets today. However, the new literature might be well written, but the pointers me. "Great Refresher" according to Chad. I personally had to read and listen to the original Security Analysis multiple times before i could consume even part of the information in it. I think this book does a very good job at distilling the information in it ,and provides an easy way to process it. Being a full time student my brain is always about to explode, so it's nice to be able to get a quick refresher of concepts without wanting to curl up in a ball and cry in a corner. Underst
