The right side pages are for coloring and the left each has a quote which I thought was a neat idea, and makes it so you're not trying to bend the spine more to get the left side flat to color. Some of the pictures are awesome an. "Good material quality, mediocre art quality" according to K. F. Wright. Good quality paper and book construction, but I'm not too thrilled with a lot of the art. Some of the character likenesses are fairly bad. Unfortunately, the artists that I think did the best job ended up having the fewest number of pages and, unlike the upcoming Buffy coloring book that features various artists from the comic.
