Solid, enjoyable sci-fi. Vandyke and Larson have given us a really good sci-fi work in "Starship Liberator". The technologically superior humans of the Hundred Worlds face off against the implacable, brutal and reptilian "Hok". Humanity must battle for survival against a savage foe, pitting their technologically invincible "mec. "Exceptionally well paced and riveting" according to Stephanie H. Raffel. What a pleasure this book was to read. I have to admit, I used my Kindle dictionary many times while reading this because I am not very well versed in military terms. The attention to detail in this book was astounding, though it was not overdone. I appreciated having the space vehicles and the physics . Pleasingly familiar parts Charles F. Kartman I will read anything by B.V. Larson, so picked this up without hesitation despite being unfamiliar with the work of Mr. VanDyke. For all I know, Mr. Larson left much of the writing to his co-author, but it sure reads like one of his books -- a good thing! There really is nothing new in "Starship Liberat
