I ordered the Kindle version & after the first chapter or two I ordered the hard copy to have the tables & a copy that can be taken to the barn. We started out just to have meat for the table & I milk my Boers too. We don't need lots of milk. But this book helped me understand more cost effective, efficient management, & the possibility of having the goats pay for th. Crystal said A great start. It doesn't claim to know everything or try to be the only book you'll need, as it offers even more resources and references to help you get more information about goats. There are some important topics left relatively untouched. As a meat goat novice I was hoping to get some specific questions answered. Example: Castration of buck kids - advantages and disadvantages?
