A.Firebrand I'm delving into songwriting and came across this and another book of hers after discovering her youtube videos (which I found entertaining and informative). My goal was to have a better understanding of the process of writing so I wasn't aimless. I don't feel that this helped me much I've read about 5 books now, and can honestly say that I can't remember one tip that I've personally used from either book (the other book was 'study the hits', which I don't even remember - suggesting that I didn't take anything from it.)Now, that said there are some people . Bombay Charlie said Real techniques to keep you writing!. This is such a great book. I like the fact that she takes the songwriting process and breaks it down into manageable steps so that I keep moving forward with my writing! A 'must have' for any songwriterCharlie Ernst
