The "MBA in Architecture" Reference Book Overall this is an excellent book that every architect/designer should own, especially those studying for their ARE or working towards understanding how to operate the business side of practice. This book might be better described as 'an MBA in Architecture' reference book, no really, I mean that. Get your office to order this and have it on your shelf, it should really be a standard since we don't do a good job of discussing the business of archite. For people taking the ARE, this is worth the investment, and you will want to keep it as a reference for years to come. I have a couple decades of experience, and I recently took it off the shelf to read the portions on project delivery. The IPD section is good, as well as the design-build essays. In fact, one of the nice features are these little essays written by practitioners. It's almost like being able to .
