I improvise piano, so do not really need anything but the melody and chords, which this book has. If you do not improvise and are looking for a very easy to play gospel book, this would be the one.. This is a great book for beginners.. and the Hal Leonard system makes it easy for me to not have to think too much I want to be able to play and sing these old time favorites at the same time, and the Hal Leonard system makes it easy for me to not have to think too much. I have to practice a lot to get to my desired level of comfort, but I'm getting there, and it's so much fun doing it. I like passing precious time with a precious heart.
