This is a pretty straightforward book, so the projects are tables, picture frames, candle holders, and a few strictly decorative items. Anyway, the technique section is sufficient to get an adult up and running with mosaicing using broken pottery/ceramics and glass squares. My young daughters thou. Phylis Mansfield said Mosaics book. Great reference book. This is one of the best I've seen.. Great for beginners Carol This is a great little book for beginners with easy to understand basics of mosaics and tools. I refer to this more than any other mosaic book and I am gradually collecting many more books by these authors. Biggs and Hunkin give you the encouragement to try the new and different things. Easy to understand and a great reference.
