The Door Before: 100 Cupboards Prequel
Description
See the world as it is meant to be seen: speaking, because it is spoken GMBurrahobbit “There really is only one world, but it’s a tangle of branches and grains and rings and times…”Of N.D. Wilson’s 10+ children’s novels, The Door Before scores several “most”s. Most heroine-centric. Most magical and growing and alive (besides perhaps Dandelion Fire). Most demonic. Most scary (if demons are what scare you). And since it’s a prequel, most likely to get you to jump straight into the 100 Cupboards trilogy and the (to-be-continued) Ashtown Burial series. Surprise! Yes, the front cov. The best prequel I've ever read *Small spoiler alert* Grace joiner Wow, this book was amazing! As a book by itself it was great! As prequel to both series it was fantastic. Learning the magic behind the cupboards why the Order doesn't like the Smith family. Seeing the dots connect was pure joy for me. If Nate Wilson plans on writing a sequel to this prequel-I'll be first in line to get my copy.. If you read 100 Cupboards and Ashtown Burials, you will love this! Very fun read. Lots of fun. Well done, Wilson! I especially liked Squid, though I was sad to see him go.
