Good Selections for Intermediate Soprano As a vocal music teacher, I have been using this songbook for several years now, but I somehow lost my original book. I bought this one used as a replacement for my missing book. This book, along with Schirmer's 2Good Selections for Intermediate Soprano Songbird As a vocal music teacher, I have been using this songbook for several years now, but I somehow lost my original book. I bought this one used as a replacement for my missing book. This book, along with Schirmer's 24 Italian Arias for Medium High voice, and 56 Songs you Like to Sing by Schirmer, have been my go to books for teaching beginner to intermediate singers for 15 years. The songs are varied and appropriate for the singer ages 13 and up. I do have other books I use for younger singers, but this one has long been a staple in my music library. I particularly love "My Johann" and "Everywhere I Look". Both . Italian Arias for Medium High voice, and 56 Songs you Like to Sing by Schirmer, have been my go to books for teaching beginner to intermediate singers for 15 years. I've sent an email to Hal Leonard and I will update this review once the issue is resolved.
